Arts &
Disability Connect Scheme (ADC)
The Arts & Disability Connect scheme supports artists with disabilities working in any artform to be ambitious, develop their practice and connect with other artists and arts organisations in Ireland.
There are two deadlines each year and each round has four strands:
- Arts and Disability Connect New Work is for more established artists with a strong track record in their professional practice, who wish to work with artists and arts partners to develop new work and present it in established arts organisations such
as venues and festivals.
- Arts and Disability Connect Mentoring is for artists at all stages of career development, including emerging artists who wish to engage in mentoring opportunities
- Arts and Disability Connect Training is for artists at all stages of career development, including emerging artists who wish to engage in professional development and other learning opportunities
- Research and Reflection is to provide established artists with disabilities the time and resources to think, research, reflect and critically engage with their practice.
There are supports and resources available to applicants including Come and Ask Questions Session, one-on-one Applicant Support, and a recorded Information Session, which you can access
here. For information on how to apply go to the Arts
& Disability Ireland website.

10 Years of Arts & Disability Connect
In 2024 the Arts & Disability Connect scheme is 10 years old and to celebrate we hosted a networking event at the Project Arts Centre on 11 June 2024.
In the video below, we hear from some recipients of the scheme and the support they have received through the process.
During the period 2014 - 2023 the scheme has funded 127 artists across a number of artforms.
You can see a full list of previous awardees and learn more about some of the artists in this interview series at https://adiarts.ie/artists/funding/connect/
